No: the basic project is two shapes sewn along the edge, turned and stuffed. Instructions are written for absolute beginners; for the patch you don't even need a sewing machine.
The first page has a 50 mm control square: measure it with a ruler after printing. Just print at 100% ("actual size").
No: it works with drawings, logos, cartoon characters and photos of objects. The system detects by itself whether it's a drawing on paper or an image with a background and uses the right strategy.
It's a realistic preview: the result depends on your fabric and hands. The pattern itself is computed to the millimetre.
You get 20 free credits when you sign up, and credits never expire. Generating a project costs 2 credits, downloading the PDF costs 10. Need more? Credit packs: 50 for €9.99, 150 for €24.99, 400 for €49.99.
The instructions include the basics: for children under 3, embroidered eyes, no buttons or detachable parts.
The image stays privately attached to your project, in your account: it's needed to create new versions (another size, another type). Deleting the project from "My projects" removes everything, image included. No publishing, no other use.
